we spent 4 nights at woodspring suites and really liked our queen suite. it felt fresh and new. the big microwave and full-size fridge were great. there’s a grocery store nearby for snacks. maid service is bi-weekly, and we appreciated having helpful staff available by phone.
i'd suggest adding utensils and dishware for better convenience.

I spent 7 nights at Woodspring Suites for work, and I found my Queen Suite to be clean and well-maintained. The spacious layout allowed for comfortable work and relaxation, and the kitchenette was convenient for preparing meals. The staff were responsive to inquiries and provided helpful assistance when needed.
The kitchenette lacked basic utensils and the air conditioning did not work properly.

Hand towels would have been nice.

Clean rooms with no carpet kept the space feeling fresh. Proximity to Michigan State University made it easy to get around without fuss. The kitchenette offered potential, but you had to shell out for cookware if you wanted to cook.
Check-in process left a lot to be desired—booked a 1 am arrival but faced an hour of waiting outside in the cold for assistance. The room's kitchen amenities were bare bones. no coffee maker or adequate kitchenware were provided, forcing you to purchase items. Only two bath towels and a limited inventory of toiletries made it feel more like a budget option than a fully stocked suite. Temperature control in the room was inconsistent, leading to uncomfortable nights. Additional staff presence might have helped with these logistical nightmares.

Decent Stay with Room for Improvement
We had a comfortable two-night stay, enjoying the spacious Queen suite. However, the lack of essential items like hand towels and an ice machine made things a bit inconvenient. For future guests, bring your own kitchenware to avoid extra fees and check the front desk hours for needed supplies.

We had a wonderful stay while attending my son's graduation. The laundry facilities were a big plus, and we loved spending time in the cozy lounge area. The only downside was some noise from the hallways, but it didn’t ruin our experience. 😄
